The electrical Engineering program prepares high-qualification specialists, have knowledge of electrical engineering, electrical mechanics, and electricity engineering and an understanding of the power electronics, energy converters, electrical machines, electricity networks, and the electricity market, able to design and use electricity, energy, and electronics equipment, and solve the problems of its generation. Values The possibility to choose the specifics of studiesThe students are provided with an opportunity to choose four more specialized groups of study modules (alternatives) in addition to the basic study program modules, i.e. Electrical and Control Equipment, Energy Converters and Control, Electrical Power Systems and Control, and Information Technology of Electrical Engineering. Good knowledge of all engineering processesDuring the studies, the students deepen their knowledge of electric, electronic and electromechanical automation and energy devices, control of energy converters, their use in various electricity and electronics fields. When performing practical tasks, they learn how to create, design, and use electrical devices, energy converters and transformers, intelligent electricity networks, apply information technologies. The students and lecturers work as partnersThe students and lecturers of the Electrical Engineering study program work as partners, the attitude of students to the studied objects is highly appreciated and they are provided with the most favorable conditions to seek knowledge and improve. Modern electrical engineering laboratories are used in the process of studiesBy working in laboratories equipped with modern laboratory equipment, the students acquire modern practical skills which are highly valued among employers after the completion of their studies. Product and service developmentAre you interested in creating real products and services while studying? It is now possible to test yourself by getting involved in a product development project (PDP). During the project, you will work in teams, collaborating with KTU researchers and social partners.
